I studied metalsmithing and fibers at the University of Oregon, graduating in 1999. That same year, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I have spent my spare time producing jewelry, bridal headpieces, lampshades, wall sconces, scarves, stained glass, and upholstered furniture. I recently left my full-time, non-artistic job to pursue jewelry and bridal accessories as a business.

The majority of my work is silver and gold-filled earrings accented with natural materials like coral, pearl, and shell. I also use colorful plastic-coated wire and various other interesting beads of glass or resin. I am constantly learning techniques and skills to expand my portfolio and keep myself from getting bored. My favorite work is custom, one-of-a-kind pieces made for a special purpose.
